RoboCop: A 35th Anniversary Retrospective

July 16

The 1987 blockbuster RoboCop was filmed in Dallas, featuring iconic skyline views, City Hall and more. RoboCop tells the story of a robotically enhanced police officer fighting crime and corporate corruption in a near-future dystopian Detroit. Dallas was chosen for the setting of the film, in-part for the city’s futuristic look.

Celebrate the 35th anniversary of the iconic classic as some of the cast and crew reunite to discuss the film. Also, enjoy a very special guest pre-recorded interview with director Paul Verhoeven.

Register to watch remotely or join us at the Central Library’s 7th floor O’Hara Hall, located directly across the street from Omni Consumer Products (City Hall),¬†to watch the live stream of the panel with other fans.

But wait, the fun doesn’t stop there… a FREE screening of RoboCop will take place at the Texas Theatre at 5:00 p.m. on July 16. To register for free tickets to the film screening, click here:
