This November 5th, EarthxFilm, Dickies Skateboarding and The 4DWN Project are here to present to you an event of pro-skaters, music, skate contests, film screenings, workshops, farming, food, drinks and community.

Saturday, November 5th

Doors at 11:00am || Event ends at 8:00pm

On November 5, the 4DWN Experience pro-skaters Kareem Campbell and Mike Crum will host professional skaters from around the world where they will show off their skills in a Pro Vert Ramp Best Trick Contest. They will also mentor young and aspiring skaters from community groups, local shelters, and the greater Dallas area.

Building on The 4DWN Project’s unique mission of melding a skatepark with a mission to fight for food security in Dallas and surrounding areas.

Starting at 11:00 am, doors will open. We’ll have local food prepared for you, workshops to participate in, film screenings with filmmakers in attendance for on stage panel conversations, raffle prizes, guest speakers, and beverages by partner Fat Tire, the world’s first carbon neutral beer as well as organic, plant-based functional teas from Drink Weird.

There will also be opportunities for Dallas skaters to show off their skills on 4DWN’s pro vert ramp, concrete bowl, street skate course, mini-ramp, and 5000-sq-foot indoor skate park. DGK skateboarding company will be on site to run Saved by Skateboarding where 30 to 50 skateboards will be gifted to children who have been invited to the event.

During lunch, there will be a screening of REI’s hit film “Camp Yoshi, with the founders of Camp Yoshi, Rashad and Shequeita Frazier, in attendance, as well as “Brooklyn Farmer” with Ben Flanner, head farmer of Brooklyn Grange, a successful sustainable food movement in Brooklyn, NY, speaking after the film. The night will be capped off by the debut of two new skateboarding short films, “You and That Thing that You Love” and “Stoke Chasers” on the big screen under the stars.
