Dallas Symphony Orchestra – Bloomberg Television series
December 4, 2021
The Dallas Symphony Orchestra (DSO) and Bloomberg Television have partnered for three televised concerts from the DSO’s Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. These newly recorded performances will be presented by Toyota.
“Bloomberg is proud to expand our partnership with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and increase the offerings of arts programming for our global viewers,” said Al Mayers, Global Head of Bloomberg Television and Radio. “The three events showcase the very best in jazz, classical and holiday favorites, providing our audiences with incredible music.”
As a remembrance of those lost to the COVID-19 pandemic, DSO Music Director Fabio Luisi will conduct Mozart’s iconic and beloved Requiem. With some of the most-recognizable and poignant music in the repertoire, the Requiem will be a fitting recognition of our collective loss and a look to the future. The Dallas Symphony Chorus and world-renowned soloists will join the DSO in this moving performance. Mozart’s Requiem will air starting December 4, 2021.
