A Fireside Chat with AAF District 10 Governor Stephanie Price and panelists Brandi Rand, Dr. Evette Allen Moore, and Leigh Henderson.

This Fireside Chat will feature a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion panel including Brandi Rand (VP of Digitas), Dr. Evette Allen Moore (Vice Chancellor for Diversity at Arkansas State University), and Leigh Henderson (an HR Executive who has served five different Fortune 100 companies).

Brandi Rand:
Brandi Rand is a wife, mom to two boys under 6, and an award-winning marketer. She is a VP Account Director at Digitas leading the account team for the social media center of excellence for her client. In her 14+ years in marketing and advertising, Brandi has launched digital and integrated campaigns for major brands including AT&T, Toyota North America, Samsung, and Uber. She has partnered with major media outlets including ESPN, ABC, OWN, and BET, having worked her social media magic from the College Football Championship to the Soul Train Awards.
As a speaker, Brandi educates audiences on the power of social media, personal branding, and networking and currently serving in her second term as the Diversity & Inclusion Co-Chair for American Advertising Federation, Dallas Chapter. Brandi is a 2020 winner of a Silver and Bronze Telly award for her recent work on the For Jason: Black is Human campaign, which shed a light on how the Covid-19 pandemic is adversely impacting the Black community. She is driven daily by the awesome responsibility of being the “Black woman in the advertising room, who is saving space for the next.”

Dr. Evette Allen Moore:
Dr. Evette L. Allen Moore is Assistant Vice Chancellor, Diversity at Arkansas State University. She is a proud alum of Arkansas State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. After her time at A-State, she earned her Master of Arts in Communication Studies from University of North Texas, her Master of Science in Family Studies from Texas Woman’s University and her Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Higher Education from the University of Denver. She has 12+ years of experience in Higher Education and has worked in various areas on college campuses such as New Student Orientation, academic advising, and multicultural affairs. She uses this knowledge to work with young adults on leadership development, social justice understanding, and setting goals for their future.
Allen Moore is originally from Arkadelphia, a small town in Arkansas. Allen’s passion for student affairs and social justice is evident in her research agenda and community activities. Allen has a research agenda that focuses on the experiences of Students of Color in Higher Education and social justice education. Her research can be found in Higher Education journals such as the International Journal of Qualitative Studies in Education, Equity and Excellence in Education, and NASPA Journal about Women in Higher Education.

Leigh Henderson:
