Dallas International Film Festival is Back in April!
After a successful fall film festival, DIFF is excited to return to its spring dates in 2023. More details will be coming soon on the next installment of the festival, but you can start preparing to gather with some of the best filmmakers and celebrate their films by purchasing a pass now!

Industry Events
The Dallas Producers Association (DPA) is hosting its holiday celebration at Saint Rocco’s! Tickets are on sale now to gather with some of the best professionals in our local film, television, media, and XR/VR industry.
Dallas-based director Alan Govenar will have his film, Looking For Home, screened at the Angelika Film Center in Dallas on Dec. 8! The screening is organized by Bart Weiss as part of Dallas VideoFest’s Curated Film Series and will be followed by a Q&A with the director.
Women in Film Dallas (WIFD) is excited to celebrate a year-in-review of women in film! WIFD will share a special video presentation showcasing its members’ work throughout the year and event highlights. See more details here for submitting your reel or video clips to be part of the show!

Merced Elizondo
Dallas-based director Merced Elizondo was recently featured in an episode of the Texas Film Commission’s Made In Texas series, where he discussed his most recent film and gave us an insight into his next film, The Mourning Of. Merced was also awarded a grant to produce his next film in partnership with NewFilmmakers Los Angeles and Warner Bros.! Read more on his award in this Deadline article.
Sarah Johnson
Sarah Johnson’s latest EP, Stages, is out now! The three-song EP is the newest release following her latest singles: Volcano, Red Bandana, Fire, and others. Sarah is also the founder of Girls of DFW – a concert series celebrating DFW’s female singer-songwriters and entrepreneurs.
