The Dallas Film and Creative Industries Office is looking for a Location Coordinator to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this position are to scout and photograph locations for the location database, manage and upkeep the photo library and provide support to filmmakers looking to shoot their projects in Dallas.

From North Texas to the Grammys

52nd Annual USA Film Festival
Taking place at the Angelika Film Center, the USA Film Festival has presented thousands of studio and independent feature films as well as short experimental, animated, documentary and dramatic films. Video Arts Night – AURORA
In celebration of Dallas Arts Month, AURORA and Downtown Dallas, Inc. are preparing a month-long program of projections at parks and outdoor surfaces in Downtown Dallas. The events are taking place each Friday evening in April from 8 pm to midnight, at West End Square, Pegasus Plaza and the Dallas Arts District.

Pistol – FX’s Pistol is a six-episode limited series about a rock and roll revolution, available exclusively on Hulu. The furious, raging storm at the center of this revolution are the Sex Pistols – and at the center of this series is Sex Pistols’ founding member and guitarist, Steve Jones. Keep an eye out for the Longhorn Ballroom and shots of Dallas on screen.

Love Is Blind – The Netflix reality series, produced by Kinectic Content, has already filmed its third season and will likely air in the next year. The season, which filmed back to back with Season 2, took place in Dallas, Variety exclusively confirms.

American Song Contest – Grant Knoche represented North Texas during his performance on NBC’s song contest. Watch his performance here.

Fritz Hager – Fritz Hager, from Dallas, performed an emotional and intimate cover of Billie Eilish’s When The Party’s Over on American Idol. Watch the performance here
